T2MED is the visual identity for the medical technology hackathon at the Technion Faculty of Medicine in Haifa. It was made for a real event on a real deadline, and the faculty still uses it for the hackathons that have followed.
It ran in the Technion's centenary year, which raised the stakes: every concept and every design went through Technion approval before it could be used, the centennial mark had to sit alongside the hackathon's own without either losing, and the work had to hold up projected at full scale in the hall. The constraints followed from there: a mark that stays legible from the back of a room, a palette that survives both a large screen and printed board, and a system consistent enough that other people could keep building on it once I handed it over.
Designing something that outlives its event is a different job from designing a poster for it. It has to keep working in hands that are not mine.
My roleThe full identity: logo, colour and typography, roll-up banners, printed and digital banners, presentation templates, and the social media campaign.
